The Nationwide Medicinal Marijuana Chess Tournament

Right now, as you are reading this, there are many chess games being played between Marijuana Advocates and Prohibition Advocates. A law passed here, and some roadblocks thrown up there... a group limits the amount of MMJ dispensaries in a city over here... MMJ spreads virally over there, etc...

But, what the Prohibition Advocates don't understand is, that if they are even playing the game, they've already lost. Medical Marijuana is a sham... everyone knows it. Is it good medicine? Absolutely. Do all the people who use Marijuana need it? Absolutely Not. Medicinal Marijuana is a means to an end. Of course it should be available for the people who Need it. It should also be available to the people who don't need it. If there is a market for a product, you will make more problems than you solve using prohibition. Our war on the Mexican border is a glaring example of what happens by enforcing an immoral law, and thereby creating powerful Black Markets. Having said that, there should be a black market, and the only product the black market should have to sell is human trafficking. Human trafficking... Now thats something we should spend money on trying to STOP, Yes? Instead, currently our resources are going to the chasing and  imprisonment of non-violent drug offending Americans.... and human trafficking.

The reason Prohibition Advocates will eventually lose the Chess game and ultimately the Nationwide Tournament, is they are on the wrong side of an immoral law. Prohibition is the arch nemesis of a Free Market. The Status Quo was never interested and possibly incapable of having an intellectual discussion about legalization. Medical marijuana will pass in every state eventually and when California makes it legal on November 2nd 2010, the rest of the country... and the world will follow.

25000 Tennesseans already use Medical Marijuana

From the Leaf Chronicle | Supporters of medicinal marijuana claim that 25,000 Tennesseans are using marijuana illegally today to battle chronic conditions or the side effects of diseases and treatments. They would like the state to make cannabis available by prescription for medical purposes.

The article from the Leaf Chronicle made a really sweet but clumsy try at sounding informed about medical marijuana. They listed a few diseases, "some" say MMJ helps. They said their state should be very careful with medical marijuana and cited instances of the dirty people of California using Medical Marijuana in a, God forbid, "recreational" manner. And the good Christian Conservatives of Tennessee should be careful of getting high with substances right? ...substances like Jack Daniels Whiskey right? Jack Daniels Whiskey, also known as Drunk Driving Fuel, is not only used legally and recreationally in Tennessee, but it's also created there. They then proceed to ship their poisonous, liquid gateway drug to the rest of the world. So, yes be careful with MMJ, Tennessee law makers, you wouldn't want to continue to look like gigantic hypocrites on this issue. The way I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, some counties in Tennessee are "Dry" counties... meaning the consumption of the alcohol they make in the same county is prohibited . That says a lot, yes? They're willing to make the big money producing their drug, but won't let each other consume it...

Let it be known, MMJ USA doesn't have a problem with Alcohol being legal. It's just a glaring example of the confusing hypocrisy that Pro Marijuana Americans have to live with.

Hawaii Medicinal Marijuana Initiative Gets Smoked

This just in from the Washington Post. An initiative to amend the decade old Medicinal Marijuana Laws in the island state of Hawaii got smoked today. It would have allowed medical marijuana patients the right to buy marijuana. it is currently legal to grow and use if you have a doctors validation. The House Judiciary Committee refused to consider the measure before the deadline on Thursday. Apparently the Judiciary Committee of the brave state of Hawaii trembles in fear before the Feds and their ridiculous stance.

He gets excited until he finds out he has to have a doctors prescription to get the marijuana. His solution is to give himself testicular cancer with a microwave. This works fine until his balls are too big to fit through the dispensary's door. The town starts discussing more additions to the law to accommodate the new problem, when someone says why don't we just quit dancing around the ridiculous medicinal marijuana loophole and legalize marijuana completely. There is more to the story but that is the point I thought they were trying to get across. Watch it for yourself with the above link. The side story with Cartman, about KFC and other fast food becoming illegal as marijuana became legal was pretty funny.
