Dude Wheres My Weed

North Oakland, California | Dude Wheres My Weed | Some nasty luck in North Oakland California.

Someone sideswiped a parked car in a North Oakland apartment complex this morning. When cops came to investigate, they found 200 plants in the garage.. street value = $90,000.

Police woke up a woman in the building, who said she didn't know who owned that garage. She said, "I woke up to this." From Mercury News

Cannabis Confusion in California Courts

Cannabis Confusion in California Courts. In Los Angeles the Superior Court Judge James C. Chalfant issued an injunction on April 13 that forbids an established Venice dispensary from dispensing. His decision is intended create a precedent for LA prosecutors to find more ways to harass distribution centers, thereby reducing the accessibility and convenience, and impeding industry growth. Judge Chalfant's interpretations of the medicinal marijuana laws imply that collectives imperatively COULD NOT sell marijuana. It seems these implications have slipped passed the rest of the state. The actions are almost confessedly intended to reduce the number of active dispensaries in Los Angeles County...More here & DIGG IT?!

More Dope on Californias November Ballot

More Dope on Californias November Ballot.Facing bankruptcy the Golden State of California sees the November 2 ballot as an opportunity to further monetize the medicinal marijuana movement. "Legalize it and tax it," they cry. If the initiative passes by majority vote (fingers crossed) this could give private California residents a corner on an industry that is actually seeing growth derivatives, WHOAH! Ellen Komp of NORML is quoted as saying, "It may be a signal they could broaden that policy. We're testing the water to see how this might go. State after state is coming on board with medical marijuana with tax dollars in their eyes." tZeduk Productions
