In Los Angeles the Superior Court Judge James C. Chalfant issued an injunction on April 13 that forbids an established Venice dispensary from dispensing. His decision is intended create a precedent for LA prosecutors to find more ways to harass distribution centers, thereby reducing the accessibility and convenience, and impeding industry growth.
Judge Chalfant's interpretations of the medicinal marijuana laws imply that collectives imperatively COULD NOT sell marijuana. It seems these implications have slipped passed the rest of the state.
