The following Michigan Medical Marijuana statistics are through this April:

• 27,883 original and renewal MMJ applications received
• 14,398 MMJ patient registrations issued
• 6,274 MMJ caregiver registrations issued
• 4,072 MMJ applications denied — most due to incomplete applications or missing documentation
