Although I guess DC can't exactly be the 15th "state" to legalize medicinal marijuana, it is a district of decent size that has officially legalized medicinal marijuana. Good for them... But....

- State Run Dispensaries (5 of them at first - possibly 8 total)
- Only chronic and lasting diseases qualify for MMJ use.
Although the bill passed unanimously twice, everyone seems to think this initial bill is a sh*t sandwich. But it's a sh*t sandwich we all have to swallow before we can get marijuana, and all other "drugs" legalized outright. They've been putting innocents in jail for years using their nasty little laws and legal loopholing. Well, looks like the Marijuana movement has figured out how to use the same laws and legal loopholing techniques to turn the issue of Marijuana on its head. We can be as sneaky and underhanded as them. Get MMJ legal in your state any way you possibly can... then turn that sh*t sandwich in to outright legalization within 10 years. We may not even have to wait that long. WHEN California legalizes marijuana, most of the country will follow when they see the amount of money and small business, marijuana generates in California.
