Utah will Legalize Medical Marijuana

Former Salt Lake City, Utah Mayor, Rocky Anderson has always been a free thinking politician. 10 years ago Rocky Anderson stopped just short of saying Marijuana should be legalized - at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, California. 

On Monday, Rocky Anderson told ABC 4 Utah, "To put people behind bars for possessing or smoking pot is absolutely absurd. It would make more sense to put people behind bars for smoking cigarettes." More Here.

Jason Chaffetz is one of the squirrely little Republican Douche-bag House Reps trying to stop the District of Columbia's, already city-approved Medical marijuana legislation. Medicinal Marijuana Movement makes its way to Mormonville

The Medicinal Marijuana Movement has made it to Mormonville. Legalize Utah has been actively polling local politicians for their positions on the issue of pot. Most responses are full of the hard line nonsense that a state full of ultra conservatives is always good for. However they have received some starling support from a few Representatives. Maybe someone has informed them of the delicious hemp honey the Mormon settlers enjoyed with their scones.
