More Dope on Californias November Ballot
More Dope on Californias November Ballot.
Facing bankruptcy the Golden State of California sees the November 2 ballot as an opportunity to further monetize the medicinal marijuana movement. "Legalize it and tax it," they cry. If the initiative passes by majority vote (fingers crossed) this could give private California residents a corner on an industry that is actually seeing growth derivatives, WHOAH!
Ellen Komp of NORML is quoted as saying, "It may be a signal they could broaden that policy. We're testing the water to see how this might go. State after state is coming on board with medical marijuana with tax dollars in their eyes."
