San Francisco proved once again why it's our national Stoner capital. During the first two games of this year's World Series between the hometown Giants and the Texas Rangers, fans cheered their team on by lighting up liberally throughout the games. Texas outfielder, Josh Hamilton was blown away by the sweet smells wafting out of the stands. "I could smell weed in the outfield," he said. "It was crazy!"

San Francisco International Cannabis and Hemp Expo

The MMJ movement has created new words, slang and lingo. I think the best one I've heard yet is, "Onsite Medicating Area". As in, the Cannabis Event in San Francisco required an onsite medicating area before they would hold the expo. I think everyone that attends the event this weekend should thank the organizers for meticulously thinking of every detail.

DALY CITY, California — Medical marijuana users near San Francisco lit up Saturday at the opening of the two-day International Cannabis and Hemp Expo, where vendors displayed bongs, vaporizers, hash brownies and other marijuana-related products.

Organizers of the event at the Cow Palace said they insisted on having an onsite medicating area before holding the expo. Under a white-canopied courtyard, young adults in baggy jeans and baseball caps smoked alongside aging hippies. Read about it here.
