Following information gathered from The Napa Valley Register | The Napa Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Thursday night on a draft ordinance allowing the city’s first MMJ dispensary.
The city is adopting an ordinance regulating marijuana clinics. Later this year the city will solicit applications from prospective operators.
Thursday’s hearing will be at 7 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 955 School St. - Napa, California.
The ordinance would allow one dispensary the first year, with membership capped at 10 percent of the city’s population. Clinics would be restricted to office zones. They could not be placed in a residential neighborhood or within 500 feet of a school or park.
